The internal
resistance of SuperCabs is much lower and can thereby tolerate much higher
impulse charges. The combination and application of the complementary
advantages in electro-static
and electro-chemical properties form the core
of the U5 SSG-storage
technology.
The U5 SSG battery
tailoring technolgy is scaleable and cascadeable and is equipped with the
appropriate cell type and UltraCap capacitor (depending on application
requirements):
- Cells: 3Ah - 1000Ah
- UltraCaps: 3F - 3000Farad
- Capacities: 3kWh - 3MWh
Through this addition battery
packs can be made smaller and the storage system is capable to work with much
higher currents. The resulting relief of the lithium cells lead to even higher
cycle strength capabilities.
